These brownies are going to make your mouth happy. They are some of the richest and most decadent brownies you will ever eat. The best thing about them is they are super simple and require a bowl and spoon to make! No need to pull out the mixer for this recipe.
You can make this recipe with your favorite brownies but if you have never tried the recipe on the side of the Ghiradelli Sweet Ground Chocolate container may I strongly urge you to do so.
If you are a box brownie lover this works for you too. Just drizzle your salted caramel sauce over them once they are cool and enjoy. The only way you can go wrong with this recipe is by not making it.
Here’s the recipe:
Source: Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate and Cocoa (slightly modified)
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate and Cocoa
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Using a spoon, stir eggs with sugar and vanilla; add butter. Mix flour, Sweet Ground Chocolate, baking powder and salt. Stir into egg mixture.
The recipe on the can calls for nuts to be added along with chocolate chips. Since I was going to pour my salted caramel sauce over it I decided to omit these two things.
I divided my mixture into two loaf pans and baked them for 20 minutes. The recipe suggests a 8″ square pan for 20-30 minutes.
Once your brownie is completely cooled take it out of the pan and place it on your serving tray. Drizzle your salted caramel sauce liberally over your brownie and lightly sprinkle with a tiny bit more sea salt.
